Winter 10 x 10: Look 6

Wow we are already half way through the Winter 10 x 1o Challenge!  I am throughly enjoying myself and creating fun simple looks from my ten picks.  If it’s your first time here check out my first post about the challenge here, and if you haven’t already check out all my previous looks—> Look 1, Look 2, Look 3, Look 4, and Look 5.

Moving on to Look 6!

I used these three pieces + my Uniqlo coat

-Uniqlo white half button dress shirt

-Lowry’s Farm “Mens” shoes

-Uniqlo grey work pants

Today’s look is extremely simple but I think that’s what makes it look so great!  I was a bit concerned that the grey pants were a bad pick for this challenge since they looked a bit “meh” when I styled them for Look 4.  It turns out they look fine but just need to be styled correctly with the right colors.  I’m not going to lie, I’m getting a bit tired of wearing the same-ol thing. Today I cheated a bit (gyaaa!) and added a blue cardigan from Ann Taylor.  I’ve had this cardigan since 2014 and I wear it quite often.  To be honest, my typical teacher uniform is usually a button up, cardigan, and either pants or a skirt.  I’ve felt a bit naked recently without my cardigans to fall back on so today I grabbed one because I knew it would make this look so much better.

I do feel somewhat guilty for cheating though…

Plus..don’t you think the cardigan makes me look thinner?  I feel like it covers the love handles a bit haha.

Sorry this is probably getting so redundant and boring but yes I’ve styled this look again with my blue Uniqlo coat.  Not much more to say here.

I do really like the colors and the high wasted pants with the coat though.

Kawaii Flair

Today I added a black bow clip to my hair as my Kawaii Flair.  I really like this clip and it reminds me that I should pick up a few more in different colors like white or navy to go with more of my work clothes.

Today I also am wearing a bit of mascara which is not something I normally wear but I had time and I recently got a Clinique sample from my last purchase at Sephora.  I styled my hair in loose waves and I feel very pretty and fairytale today.

That’s it for Look 6.  I think this look is one of my favorites so far because I feel very comfortable and it’s super versatile and nice for teaching.  I’m also wearing a ton of layers underneath so I’m not freezing don’t worry!

Thank’s so much for reading!

Ps. Check out Style Bee & Un-Fancy’s Look 5!  Both are a-mazing!
