Spring 10 X 10: Look 9

Hey everyone.  Sorry this post is so late.  I was pretty busy at work for most of the day and that’s saying something because normally I’m not busy at all and can get my blogs up fairly quickly in the morning.  I was going to wear something else this morning but I decided I would be happiest in the jumpsuit again so here I am again!

If it’s your first time here, check out my first post about the Spring 10×10 Challenge here, and if you haven’t had a chance yet check out my last look here!

Look 9:

Today’s Pieces:

-Uniqlo jumpsuit

-GU sandals

-Jeanasis grey and white duster

Excuse my weird old lady pose above.  I don’t know what was going on there haha.  So as I have been saying about this jumpsuit, I’ve found that the best way to spice it up is to add different outerwear and possibly different socks and shoes.  I could probably do something different with my hair, but lately I’ve been doing the same two hair styles: straight and flipped in, or soft waves.  Both styles I’ve been wearing down.  Every since my hair started to grow a bit longer I’ve been very adamant about keeping it down and showing it off.  In any case, once the hot weather hits Japan I’ll probably be wearing my hair up for the majority of the time (good excuse to buy cute hair accessories haha), so I want to make the most of the time I can have my hair down.

Moving on to my outfit, I’m sporting this fun drapey duster I got from Jeanasis last year.  I wore this for the majority of spring last year but this was the first time I pulled it out of the closet this year.  What do you think?  Too oversized or drapey?  I love how airy and comfortable it is, plus the white color under gives a good contrast, though if I’m wearing a white shirt or grey shirt it might not work.  It almost feels like a robe though haha.  Either way, this was a look that was more or so based on comfort and how fast and easily I could get ready for work rather than focusing on looking good.

What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by!
